This is the Bakfiets CargoBike from the Netherlands. This is a brilliant emission-free way for your to do the school run.

2 children can sit on the benchseat in the box of the CargoBike Short box and the Cargobike Long. You can have an optional extra bench seat on the Long too for another child.
After you've taken the children to school then you can fold the bench seat up and fill the box with a load of groceries.

All of our bakfiets bikes are built in the same factory in Holland, some come via a UK importer and some special order bikes come via the workcycles premises in Amsterdam, because of this we can offer you the best choice of bakfiets in the UK. The bikes are all basically the same but with detail changes. All of our bikes are assembled and custom adapted here in the dairy so that any accessories and special parts you have ordered are fitted and tested before you take ownership. This is a different one for you, a Bakfiets or boxbike, designed in Holland and is a bike with a whopping great box in front of the rider. The boxbike is a really great Kid carrier because you can keep an eye on them. This is a great practical bike to have available. Not as odd as it looks to ride, it is really useful, just chuck stuff in the box and go.
As always we think the best way to find out about it is to see and try it...you can do that here at the dairy.

All of the Bakfiets cargobikes we sell are technically to the same high standard. They are not cheap bikes so we tend to sell the best value spec 8 speed, with IM70 roller brakes and dynamo lights. If you want smaller and cheaper we can supply the 8 speed short machine in a more basic spec. We are working hard to offer you a good choice and a great bike. We tune and build all of our bikes especially for you so that a dairy supplied bike will be subtly better any other you can find.
We will also deliver your bakfiets cargobike personally if you wish, its a big bike and it can be a long ride home. We only sell our cargobikes if we can deliver it built or to folk who will pick up from us at the dairy. If you are a long way away from us then its probably best to talk to Hugh who can tell you your nearest dealer or sell 'flat packed' direct. Hughs bikes are from the bakfiets factory but lack the certain details that we add.
Our relationship with the Bakfiets cargobike has grown from initial scepticism to a genuine love of the bike. Now we have played about with it and got to know it, it truly is my bike of choice for shopping, walking the dog or just nipping out.I haven't got kids but see the faces of kids and their parents when out on test rides and know that selling these bikes is the right thing to do.
